A two stage machine polish is given to eliminate deeper defects, swirl marks, oxidation and dull, hazy paintwork that is damaged over the years by poor wash techniques, bad contact and strong chemicals.
The first machine polishing stage is a medium-strong cut compound used in conjunction with a polishing/cutting pad that restores the paint and removing up to 80% of the surface defects. The second stage of the process is called 'refinement'. This step utilises milder polishes and lighter polishing pads to restore clarity back into the paintwork by removing holograms and haze from the previous heavy cutting stage, leaving the much desired ‘jewelled’ finish and bringing back the cars ‘wow factor’.

Experience the ultimate in paint finishes with our comprehensive paint correction service, which involves many more hours of meticulous machine polishing to address all types of paint defects. More time is spend on harder to reach areas and deeper scratches.
While we aim for ‘perfection’ it may not always be feasible to achieve 100% correction due to various factors such as paint damage or thickness of the clear coat. Compromises have to be made on areas with thin clear coat where it would be impractical to sacrifice lacquer and to run the risk of striking through and inflicting more damage.
As a general rule, scratches that you can ‘feel’ with your fingernail will usually require paint (However they can be visibly reduced by ‘rounding off’ the edges with safe and correct machine technique).
Typically, over 95% correction will be met with a Major Paint Correction Detail and is guaranteed to transform your vehicle. The result is a truly breathtaking transformation that will turn your vehicle into a show-stopping masterpiece.
Full Process

Alloy wheels cleaned; front facing, behind-spokes and inner-rim

Wheel arches flushed, door shuts cleaned, engine bay cleaned

Extensive wash process using the two bucket system and pH neutral shampoo/foam

Tar deposits and iron ferrous contaminants removed

Remaining surface contaminants removed with a clay-bar; leaving a smooth, glass-like finish

Vehicle rinsed and dried with plush, ultra soft microfibre drying towels

Hot air blow dry to remove trapped water and eliminate drips

2/3 stage machine polish to achieve 80-90% correction

Vehicle re-washed to remove dust created from heavy polishing stage

Blown dry to free trapped water and eliminate drips

Paintwork degreased with panel wipe and further IPA wipe down to remove residues and oils revealing a true clear glass like reflection and leaving the perfect base for paint protection treatments

Single layer of carnauba wax applied (multi layers available at cost)

Glass cleaned thoroughly inside and out
